Jatrabari is where the Dhaka–Chattogram highway enters the city, and its turfs — one of them on an 11th floor at Shonir Akhra — make the most of very little ground.
The Mayor Hanif flyover carries through traffic overhead, and the turfs are on the roads underneath, around Shonir Akhra, Kajla and Dhania. If these are full, Demra’s turfs are close by to the east.
