TURFS IN Hazaribagh
Hazaribagh, between Dhanmondi and the Buriganga, has turfs along the Beribadh embankment and near Pilkhana — a short ride from Dhanmondi when its slots are gone.
Since the tanneries moved out to Savar in 2017, Hazaribagh has been changing, and the riverside Beribadh road is the quickest way between its turfs and Mohammadpur to the north. For a Dhanmondi group, Rayer Bazar and Pilkhana are often closer than the far side of Dhanmondi itself.
